Birthday Wishes!

Happy Friday Friends!

Are you ready for Memorial Day weekend?  To me it starts off the summer.  I can't believe it is here already.  Where does time go?  We have some super fun plans....  Work day at grandma's, then home to clean out the garage, our annual church picnic and then cleaning the barn.  The weather should be just perfect!

Today's card is a cute birthday card with an image by Tiddly Ink - Birthday Wishes.  I am really liking these images.  THey are lots of fun!   I finished it off with some Wild Orchid Flowers - Roses, lace and ribbon for some more fun.

How is everyone today?  The weather was just beautiful here last week.  I hope it continues that way!  Today, I am sharing a card made with the Magnolia, Beautiful Tilda, image.  She is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with copics. Her background papers are by Bo Bunny and Cosmo Cricket.  The layout was a sketch by Stary Nights Studio.  I added some ribbon, flower, pearls and dew drops.

Well here in the states it will be a short week with the 4th holiday coming up!  I am ready for the short break!  Today I am going to share what could be an Easter card on using winter papers.  However, I will likely not use this card as either.  The background is done in Bo Bunny Blizzard paper stack.  I love the cool blues and warm yellows and reds.  I used the Magnolia Tilda and her bunny image, stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and fussy cut around the image.  She is colored with copics and I find I keep going back to this teal blue.  It must be one of my favorites!  

I finished the card off with ribbon, flowers and pearls.

{PIN}spirational Challenge # 56

Hello Friends! I am back with another {PIN}spirational Challenge!  In case you don't know what the {PIN}spirational Challenge is all about, well let me share with you.  Each week you are given a picture for inspiration.  All you have to do is create based on that picture.  So here is this weeks picture: Our Sponsor: & Flat Friends I am using a cute image generously provided by our sponsor Flat Friends.  She is called Walkies.  She looks like is about to have a great time walking the adorable little puppy!  I printed the image on cryogen paper an colored it with copics.  The image is cut out with Spellbinders Large Circle and trimmed with Spellbinders Eyelet Circle.  The papers are by Bo Bunny & Cosmo Cricket.  I don't have the lines, as I pulled them from my stash. Loves Rubberstamps - Sensational Sunday Inspirations

Hello Friends!

I hope you are having a great weekend and the beginning of your year has started off well.  I am back today with a Sensational Sunday Inspiration post for  Loves Rubberstamps Store.  She has such great images to play with!  I must admit that I actually started this project as a gift for a special friend.  After working a few days on it, I could not part with it.  I know, not very nice of me, but this was my first frilly, girly thing I had made. I have become attached.

So let's get to it!  I made a Multi Pocket Envelope album.  I got the directions from The Paper Trail on how to assemble the envelopes.  I made six pages total, using 15 envelopes.  We will get to the inside in a bit.  First, let's take a look at the outside of the book.  I used chipboard for the covers to make it a bit sturdier.  All paper used in the album is My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found.  The image, Painter Meg, by Mo Manning is stamped with Memento, Tuxedo Black ink  and is colored with copics.  I finished embellishing the front with white trim and a Tim Holtz embellishment, "Live the life you've imagined"  The book was bound with a Bind it All.

Here are some pictures of the inside of the book.  You can see there are several places for tags and fun embellishments in this book of fun.  I used Spellbinders Labels 10, 20, 21, 25 dies to cut out many of the tags.  The tags are all embellished with miscellaneous flowers, trims, buttons, twine, brads, laces etc.      I used Tim Holtz Distress inks to add more to each tag.  Some of the tags are also stamped with flourish stamps around the edges to add more visual effects to each tag.  

I have included a picture of all the pages, so please excuse the picture heavy post.

A Gift For You!

Hello blogging friends!

I hope you are doing well!  The weather has been amazing here the last few weeks.  That makes it hard to settle down at the computer, but I will get it done.

 I used a sketch challenge (see below) to create this card.  When I seen the sketch, I loved it.  It gave me the chance to use a new digi stamp and my new spellbinders border die.

I airbrushed the top in blue copics for the sky using a mask with an oval spellbinders die.  The ground I airbrushed with a light brown and mask of a normal piece of paper.
