2/3 LRS Sensational Sunday Inspiration

Good Morning Blogging Friends!

I hope you have had a fantastic weekend so far and that you get to spend today relaxing!  Today I am back with more inspiration for you today with Loves Rubberstamps

When I seen this stamp, Impression Obsession Classic Truck, in the Loves Rubberstamps store, I knew I had to have it.  It reminds me of my dad.  With him in mind, I created this card to send to him while he is away on business.  It was quite a surprise for him because I had to be sneaky to get the address of where he would be.  It was on his desk Monday morning when he arrived at the office.  He texted me first thing and said that I had made his day!  Anyhow, back to the fun!

The image is stamped with Memento Ink in tuxedo black ink on cryogen paper.  I colored it up with my copics.  I then matted the image on black cardstock to make it pop off the card.  The background design papers are by Simple Stories Harvest Lane.  Quite manly, I think.  I distressed the papers and added some Tim Holtz Gather Twigs Distress Ink around the edges.  I also used a piece of cardboard that I peeled of the front of to add some more dimension.  I finished the card off with a few copper brads that match the paper I have chosen.

Copics used:
Truck:  BG11, BG72, BG78, C0, C3, C7, C9
Trees:  E42, E43, E47, E49
Grass:  G24, G99, N5, YG97

Pink Christmas

Hello Blogging Friends,

I have been working on my Christmas cards the last few weeks.  I have lots to get done, so you will likely see lots in the next few months. The weather has been cold, so what a better time to lock myself in my craft room and create. I ordered some new Magnolia stamps last weekend and could not wait to get this one, Midwinter Tilda with Lantern, inked up.  Isn't she the sweetest?  I have also wanted to do a pink Christmas card for a few weeks, so here it is!

Copics used:
Skin:  E000, E00, E11, E13
Coat, Hat, Socks:  G20, G21, G24, E83, E85, E89
Shoes:  E81, E84, E87
Lantern:  W3, W5, Y00, Y13, Y11
Hair:  E31, E35, YR20

A Gift For You!

Hello blogging friends!

I hope you are doing well!  The weather has been amazing here the last few weeks.  That makes it hard to settle down at the computer, but I will get it done.

I used a sketch challenge (see below) to create this card.  When I seen the sketch, I loved it.  It gave me the chance to use a new digi stamp and my new spellbinders border die.

Recipe:
Sketch:  Fussy and Fancy Friday
Paper: Bo Bunny & MME
Dies:  Spellbinders
Flowers:  Prima airbrushed with copics
Gems
Image on Cryogen Paper
Digital Stamp: Wee Stamps
Inside Sentiment:  Printwork Creations

I airbrushed the top in blue copics for the sky using a mask with an oval spellbinders die.  The ground I airbrushed with a light brown and mask of a normal piece of paper.
