Christmas Wishes

Hello Blogging Friends!

I am trying to complete a blog hop for Perfect Sentiments that has 4 different cards.  So here is my card 3 for Christmas with a Critter.  I used a Christmas Challenges sketch which I will also be entering into the challenge.  I love the way this little High Hopes, Hope for Peace Snowy turned out.  It started out that I would make him monotone, but then I quickly changed my mind and added in some blues and just a touch of red.

The papers are by MME Christmas packs.  The sentiment is by Memory Box, Christmas Ticket.  I distressed the edges of all the papers and gave them a bit of distress ink.  The burlap in the background is from a silverware holder from a wedding I went to last week, recycle and reuse.  Everyone made fun of me when I asked if they were throwing their silverware holder

Inside paper by MME and sentiment by Stampabilities, Meaning of the Season.

Copics used:  E44, E47, E49, R81, R85, R89, BG13, BG15, BG34, BG10, BG0000, 0, YG93, YG95, YG97

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a fantastic Monday!
Blessings until next time...

Chipboard Bookmark

Hello Blogging Friends!

I hope you are all enjoying Father's Day with the men in your life.  We celebrated Friday and Saturday night with our fathers, so I have today to play in my room and get a bit inky.

A while back I seen a tutorial on SCS for a Chipboard Bookmark by Beate.  It was beautiful, so I looked at the tutorial.  I used that as my inspiration for this bookmark.  I did not follow the tutorial real close and did some ad libbing of my own.

I used spellbinders, Floral Doily Motifs and cut out 4 cuts with kraft paper and 2 with Gina K 120# paper.  The Gina K paper is used on the front and back to sandwich the kraft paper.  After I cut them all out, I ran them thru my Xyron to adhere them to each other.  I stuck a white and a teal ribbon between the sandwiched kraft paper to create the pull no the bookmark.  The top piece of white Gina K was airbrushed with yellow copics.  I wanted a bright bookmark to go with the image I have choose.  I cut out a 3 inch circle and stamped the cute flower image, Lazy Susan Buggies by High Hopes.  I colored the image with copics and used a little bit of stickles on the bees wings.

After I colored the image, I used Distress Ink to color the background. Then I adhered the image to the top of the book mark and topped it off with a pink button tied with jute twine.

It was a very easy project with a cute result.  I think I will be making more of these soon.

Thank you for stopping by.
Blessings until next time...

So Grateful!

Yes, spring has passed and we are into fall now, but I loved this stamp by High Hopes.  I colored the image with copic markers and prisma pencils.  I also use a bit of stickles to add some shine!

Inside close up!  See the sparkle!

Inside border with Martha Stewart punch and a prima flower.

Thanks for looking!
