Naughty or Nice? Loves Rubberstamps Blog Hop

Good Morning Friends -
Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift Voucher!  We will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1st Sunday of each month! Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

You should have arrived here from Dangina's blog!

So how is your Chistmas shopping coming along?  I picked up a few more things yesterday, so I am down to one little thing and I should be complete.  I like getting things out of the way early so that I can enjoy the holidays, instead of rushing around.  Anyhow, the reason you are here…

I have always loved this image and Laura now has it in the store (Make it Crafty - Christmas Eve Countdown).  I decided to bite the bullet and try to color him up.  He is not actually as hard as you might think.  This fun little santa is illustrated very well.  After I colored him up, I thought it would be fun to put him on an Upright Z fold style card.

Here is the inside top portion.

Inside middle portion.

1 - 2 - 3! Loves Rubberstamps Challenge

Hello Friends,

Before we get to today' challenge, I want to wish my little brother a very Happy 34th Birthday!  He welcomed a little boy this past Thursday and he is the sweetest little guy you have seen.  I know I am a bit biased, but I am allowed to be!  His big sister really checked him out to make sure he had all his parts.  She is very curious!

Ok, for the reason you are here, we have another challenge for you from Loves Rubberstamps!  This week we want to see 1, 2, 3 creations.  What does that mean you ask?

1 Image
2 Design Papers
3 Embellishments

Our sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter!

The Paper Shelter generously provided the design team some fun images to play with.  I have used the Christmas Carol.  I have to admit, I was a bit intimidated to color this image and almost used the pre-colored image, but I decided to challenge myself a bit and here it is.  I am pretty happy with it.  The image is cut out using MFT Die-namics Round Banner die.  I inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress ink.  I decided the image would be cute with a center step card, so that is what I did.  The papers are by Simple Stories, Aweso{me} and My Minds Eye.  The sentiment is by Memory Box and is stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento ink.

Copics used:
Boy:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13
Hair:  E50, E53, E55, E57
Hat/Jacket/Shoes:  E43, E44, E47, E49
Shirt:  R24, R27, R89, W5
Pants:  YG93, YG95, YG97
Book:  W5, W7, W10

Girl:

Hair:  E34, E50, E53, E57
Hat:  E41, E43, E44
Coat:  R24, R27, R89 (& Stickles)

Ok, so let's see if I met the challenge?

Loves Rubberstamps - Sunday Inspiration Blog Hop

Good Morning Friends,

First, I would like to wish all the men in your life a Happy Father's Day.

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $10 Loves Rubberstamps store gift certificate. So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love for the Designers! You have until Saturday, June 22 nd, at 8pm CST. Have fun and we hope that you enjoy the hop!

If you've arrived here from Dangina's blog you are right on track! If not, I have posted the whole blog hop list below just in case you get lost along the way!

It has been a very busy week, but very good here.  I just got back from business travel to CA on Friday afternoon.  It was a jam packed trip, but I learned so much while I was out there.  This weekend has been very busy with celebrations and another today, but I wouldn't have it any other way!  OK, so now to the card for this week!

I have made a gate fold card, I was a bit tired of the normal 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inch card.  It needed to be mixed up a bit!  The image is by Magnolia, Tilda with Big Tulip Pot.  That looks like quite the load, doesn't it?  She is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with copics.  The background is in My Mind's Eye, Miss Caroline collection.  I thought it went well with the image.  I have also added some flowers, pearls and lace to embellish the card.  The circle was cut with Spellbinders, scalloped circle die and the image was inked with Gathered Twigs distress ink.  I very loosely followed Deconstructed Sketch 104.

Copics used:
Skin:  E000, E00, E11, E21
Hair:  E34, E50, E53, E57
Pot:  E99, YR24, YR27
Flower, Leaves, Dirt:  E41, E41, E43, E44, G20, G21, G94, G99, R20, R22, R24, R27, R29
Pants:  W1, W2, W3, W5
Shirt:  BG11, BG13, BG15, BG49

Your next stop on the hop is Shanna!

Athina (you are here!)

We hope you have fun on the hop today!  It is a great way to see what the very talented design team is up to!
Thanks for stopping by!  I do appreciate your visit!
Blessings until next time...

PTT #119 - Mother's

Hello Blogging Friends!

Today I am back with an other challenge at Party Time Tuesdays!  This week is all about Mother's Day.  So make sure to come on over and share your fun creations with us this week!

Our fabulous sponsor is 2 Cute Images!

2 Cute Images generously provided this cute little Butterfly Bear image for us to work with.  I printed the digi image on cryogen paper and colored it with my copics.  I cut the image out with the Spellbinders Large Circle die and used the Large Scalloped Circle as the background.  The papers are by MME.  I used a twisted fold to allow for a gift card pocket on the inside.  The tag is inked with Spun Sugar distress ink and the sentiment is by Amy R, Bee Happy Collection.

Copics used:
Bear:  E50, E51, E53, E55
Flowers:  R81, R83, R85
Butterflies:  B000, B04, V01, V05

Be sure to stop by this week and play along with us.  We want to see your Mother's Day creations!

Loves Rubberstamps - Anything Goes

Hello Friends and welcome to my last post for today.  Make sure to scroll down for two more fun challenges!  The last post for today is a great challenge for Loves Rubberstamps!  The best ever - Anything Goes!

Our fabulous sponsors:

Well, since this weeks challenge is Anything Goes, I decided to use a SVG file from Silhouette and cut out this cute little purse card.  I used Simple Stories Happy Days papers.  The are great for a birthday card or purse.  I used a Whimsy Wee Suzie image on cryogen paper.  I colored her with copics, cut her out with Spellbinders Labels Four dies and used some Mustard Seed distress ink around the edges.    I also used the MFT Die-namics Chevron die to add some interest to the front of the card.  To finish it off, I used a few flowers.  The puffy flower was originally white, but I used my copics and my air compressor to add some blue color to the flower.  I then used MFT Die-namics Mix & Match Banner to cut out a banner for a Stampin Up "Happy Birthday" Sentiment tied with some ribbons.

For the inside, I used coordinating papers and some fun buttons with twine.

Copics used:
Skin:  E000, E00, E21
Hair:  E29, E35, E39
Dress:  R24, R29, E07
Pot:  E99, YR24, YR27
Present:  BG72, BG75, BG78

The inside sentiment is by Hero Arts and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today!  Stop by the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to play along with us!  Remember it's Anything Goes this week.  Make the most of your day!
Thank you for stopping by!
Blessings until next time...
