Happy Easter!

Happy Friday Friends!

I am happy to be back to share a little inspiration with you!  Hopefully a lot of you have today, Good Friday, off work.  I will be working, but many people are out of the office, so it will be a good day to get lots caught up.  Do you have any big plans for the Easter weekend?  We are having a family dinner and Easter egg hunt.  It is always lots of fun and great to spend time with my family.

I made a cute little Easter basket cut out with the Silhouette.  I have some handmade goodies to go in the basket, but I can't share those with you just yet.  So be sure to check my blog next week to see what will be inside.  It is for a very special lady in my life.  I hope she likes it!!!  I used   Magnolia - Tilda & Her Bunny, a perfect image for the basket. I finished it off with a ribbon, charm and some Wild Orchid Crafts - Flowers.  The sentiment is by C.C. Designs - Be Happy.  It was so simple and fun to put together.

That is it for me today!  Have a blessed Easter weekend and we will see you back next week.

Loves Rubberstamps - Anything Goes Challenge

Hello Friends!

I think spring might finally be here!  The weather last week was awesome here, I love the warmth of the sun.  Anyhow, the reason you are here... a new challenge from Loves Rubberstamps!  This week is open for anything you want to add.... Anything Goes.

Our sponsor is The Cutting Cafe.

This challenge was a bit of fun for me.  I will have a new niece born sometime in the beginning of June and the mom had a shower last weekend.  So I incorporated it all and came up with a fun little project.  I used the Coffee Holder set from The Cutting Cafe and made two of them to create a little box to hold two cute little onesie cupcakes.  I did shorten the handle a bit.  I covered the coffee holder with paper by My Minds Eye, some lace and a flower.  I created a tag by stamping with Rich Cocoa Memento ink the Bonny Tilda image colored with my copics.  I fussy cut the cutie out and added it to a tag inked with Spun Sugar, Peeled Paint, Peacock Feathers and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.  I added some perfect pearls, a charm and a bow for extra fun.  The sentiment is by Stampin Up.

The cupcake idea was pulled from pinterest.  Each one uses a onesie and a sock.  The wrapper was cut with a downloaded file from my Silhouette.

Please make sure to stop by and share your fun creations with us this week at Loves Rubberstamps!  We cant wait to see it all!!

Loves Rubberstamps - Anything Goes

Hello Friends and welcome to my last post for today.  Make sure to scroll down for two more fun challenges!  The last post for today is a great challenge for Loves Rubberstamps!  The best ever - Anything Goes!

Our fabulous sponsors:

Well, since this weeks challenge is Anything Goes, I decided to use a SVG file from Silhouette and cut out this cute little purse card.  I used Simple Stories Happy Days papers.  The are great for a birthday card or purse.  I used a Whimsy Wee Suzie image on cryogen paper.  I colored her with copics, cut her out with Spellbinders Labels Four dies and used some Mustard Seed distress ink around the edges.    I also used the MFT Die-namics Chevron die to add some interest to the front of the card.  To finish it off, I used a few flowers.  The puffy flower was originally white, but I used my copics and my air compressor to add some blue color to the flower.  I then used MFT Die-namics Mix & Match Banner to cut out a banner for a Stampin Up "Happy Birthday" Sentiment tied with some ribbons.

For the inside, I used coordinating papers and some fun buttons with twine.

Copics used:
Skin:  E000, E00, E21
Hair:  E29, E35, E39
Dress:  R24, R29, E07
Pot:  E99, YR24, YR27
Present:  BG72, BG75, BG78

The inside sentiment is by Hero Arts and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today!  Stop by the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to play along with us!  Remember it's Anything Goes this week.  Make the most of your day!

Loves Rubberstamps - Sensational Sunday Inspiration 3/17

Good Morning,

I hope you have had a great weekend so far and have something nice and relaxing planned for today!  I am back with another Sensational Sunday Inspiration post for Loves Rubberstamps!

As you know, I have been having a lot of fun with my silhouette and this project is no exception.  I didn't get my copics out at all on this project!  A few weeks ago, my company did a quarter auction to benefit Relay for Life.  I was asked if I would mind providing a gift to help the cause.  Cancer has affected so many of us directly or indirectly, so I was glad to help.

It took me several weeks to determine what I would make.  Until finally I came up with this...

LOVE...FAITH....LIFE

I love pink, so I thought I could gear this towards breast cancer.  I bough three tera cotta pots from the local craft store.  I painted them with pink craft paint, then added some crackle medium and let it dry for a few hours.  I then added some more white craft paint and let the crackle happen.  I decorated the pots with various ribbon, buttons, flowers and lace.

I found these cute little seed pack SVG files at the Cutting Cafe.  I cut them out from Echo Park and My Minds Eye paper.  Then wrapped them around the cheery flower seeds I had purchased.  I cut out circles with my spellbinders dies and used the My Minds Eye Lost and Found clear stamp set to stamp in Worn Lipstick Distress ink the doilies for the labels.  I then used rub ons to add the words Love, Faith and Life.  I used a seal cut out on the silhouette in black behind the circles, added some fun ribbons and a charm to each pack.

I filled the pots with some dirt and tied some ribbon around them.

Here are close ups of the pots:

PTT Challenge # 110 - Die Cuts

Hello Friends!

Welcome back to another busy Tuesday here at Stella, Roo & Fena Too!  The sun is shining out and I know it is going to be a great day!

Today at Party Time Tuesday's we have several fabulous sponsors for our Die Cuts challenge.  The Robin's Nest, Papelitos Stamps & our month of March sponsor The Paper Nest Dolls.

Papelito's Stamps provided this goofy guy digi image, Peter for me to color.  It appeared to me that he danced to the beat of his own drum but was likely very creative.  I like him.  So I colored him up with my copics and cut the image out with my large Deckled Rectangle spellbinders die.  I used some walnut stain distress ink around the image and set him off with some black card stock.  The background of the card is done with My Mind's Eye Lost and Found paper line.  These colors are some of my favorite in the pack.  I used an EK Success punch to trim the bottom yellow design paper.  I added some chipboard die puzzle pieces covered with matching papers.  Tied them up with twine and topped them off with a button.  The sentiment is from Traveling Colors by Saturated Canary.   I also used the large Deckled Rectangle by spellbinders and offset it with black card stock.  It is finished with black and white ribbon and a safety pin by Tim Holtz.  Quick tip, the white on the ribbon was too bright, so I used my distress ink and went over it with some walnut stain.  It softened it a bit and made it match the card better.

Copics used:
Hair:  C3, C5, C7, C9
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13
Shirt:  YR23, YR24, YR27
Jacket:  G20, G21, G24
Sack:  E21, E25, E29
Pants:  E81, E84, E87
Shoes:  E21, E25, E29, W00, W1, W2

For the inside, I used the same background layout as the front.  But I only added one chipboard die puzzle piece.  The tag was cut with my Silhouette and inked with Tim Holtz distress inks.    I loved the look of the tag with the notebook paper bottom and the circles cut out of it.

Distress Inks used:
Dried Marigold,
Peeled Paint
Mustard Seed
Black Soot

Ok, so now it is your turn!  Come on over to Party Time Tuesday's and show us your creation with die cuts.  There are several fabulous prizes this week!

Loves Rubberstamps - Sensational Sunday Inspiration 2/24

Hello Friends!

I am sure all of us have a BFF that we share all of our secrets with.  I know I sure do and I don't know what I would do without her in my life.  Today I want to share a fun card for Loves Rubberstamps Sensational Sunday Inspiration post, a tribute to all our BFF's!

I have used an adorable image by Make it Crafty, Girls Secret Swing.  It is stamped with memento ink on cryogen paper.  I actually had the card base made some time ago to use with a different card, but it just didn't work out the way I had planned.  So as I was coloring this image with my copics, I thought this would be a great background for this card.  I ended up making it into an easel card, added some banners, a bow and some cute little butterflies.  I purchased a silhouette machine a few weeks ago, so I have been trying it out.  You will likely see more out of that fun little machine in the future.  I also used a EK success punch to add a border to help the card stand up.  The sentiment is by The Greeting Farm. I also used a spellbinders, elegant post die to make the swing look like it is hanging.

Copics used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13
Hair:  E21, E25, E27, E29;  E30, E33, E35, E39
Shirt:  RV21, RV23, RV35, RV29
Shorts/Shoes: BG11, BG72, BG75
Dress/Shoes:  Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
Rope:  E41, E44
Swing:  W1, W3, W5

Make sure to stop over to the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration blog and see what the rest of the amazing design team has created.  Just for leaving a comment, you will be entered to win a voucher for the Loves Rubberstamps store.
