Enjoy the Ride - Sensational Sunday Blog Hop Loves Rubberstamps!

 Since a few weeks ago when our challenge was 4x9, I have been having fun with that size.  It is a bit new for me and I am loving it!  The size was perfect for this adorable Penny Black, Enjoy the Ride, image.  I received this image about six months ago and just loved her, but never had the chance to ink her up.  Well, now I have.  I inked her with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  She is colored with copics and the background of the image is done with Broken China and Brushed Corduroy Distress ink.  The image is cut out with Spellbinders, Labels 21.  The background papers are Tea for Two by Cosmo Cricket.

You - One of a Kind - Loves Rubberstamps Challenge!

Happy Tuesday to you!  I am back with another challenge for  Loves Rubberstamps!
This week it is "Your Favorite Color Combo!"

Well, I had a hard time coming up with my FAVORITE color combo.  I love so many colors, but I came down to teal and gold.  I use teal ALOT in my coloring.  I love the warm rich colors.

Round or Square - Loves Rubberstamps

Happy Tuesday to you!  I am back with another challenge for  Loves Rubberstamps!
This week it is "Round or Square!"

I went with a round card (well almost round), but the inside is all round right?   I used a silhouette mini book file to cut out a front and back to the card.

Yesterday I got together with my some of the women in our family for a scrap day.  It was so nice and relaxing and fun to catch up with everyone.  I made this cutie to share with you today!  I have used Magnolia, Tilda with Big Ice Cream image. It is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on cryogen paper.  She is colored with copics and cut out with Spellbinders Labels 4 die.  The edges are inked with Spun Sugar Distress ink.  The background papers are by My Mind's Eye.   I finished the card off with wild orchid flowers, ribbon, twine a button and a hat pin.

Calling all Blue Hair!


Hello Friends!

Happy Tuesday to you!  Can you believe that school is almost in session again?  Where did the summer go?  Well, if you have little ones headed back this week, why don't you grab a cup of your favorite drink and join us for another challenge at Loves Rubberstamps!
This week it is "Hair of a different color!"  What fun is that!

I just love this little image, The Ugly Christmas Sweater generously provided by Saturated Canary.  She is printed on cryogen paper and colored with copics.  I used brushed curdory distress ink around the edges.  The paper is by Simple Stories Harvest Lane.  

I finished it off with ribbon, a bow, twine, button and a little chipboard stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  The sentiment is by Stampabilities.

I have three nieces that are soon to be four years old.  One of them is so into princesses.  So when I seen the Princess Ellie image by The Paper Nest Dolls, I knew right away I could use it for a birthday card.  The image is printed on cryogen papers and colored with copics.  I used Spellbinders Labels 14 to cut out the image and framed it with purple glitter paper.  The card was cut out from my Silhouette with an image purchased from the Silhouette store.  The top of the crown is covered with American Crafts Micro Beads and the sides are adorned with dew drops  by The Robin's Nest.   I added a bow and another dew drop to the center.

Hair:  E50, E51, E53
Dress:  V01, V12, V15, V17
Overcoat:  R81, R85, RV10, RV32

The inside I used some more glitter paper and dew drops from The Robin's Nest.  The sentiment is by American Art Stamps and is embossed with pink embossing powder.
