Hello Friends!
St. Patrick's Day is this weekend! Do you have your green ready? Well it will be a green day here at Stella, Roo and Fena Too. First, we are starting off with this festive picture for {PIN}spirational Challenges.
Our sponsors:
I had fun with this one. I hope it does not offend anyone, it is all in fun and not intended to be bad. So I started off with this cute little image generously provided by Bugaboo Stamps, Turtle Good Luck. Did you notice, he only has three leave clovers.. Hmmm. We had to fix that one. I printed the digi image out on cryogen paper and colored him with copics. I used a little gold stickles on his clovers. I think that will bring him more luck possibly. I used Spellbinders Labels 4 to cut out the image and add a background layer in black card stock. I used the diagonal double fold for this card. The double sided paper is by Chatter Box and I pulled it out of my stash, I have no idea how old it is. I stamped some flourishes around the card to add some interest. I used Paper Inspiration, floral flourish with Peeled Paint Distress ink.
Copics used:
Hat: W01, W03, W05
Shell: YG01, YG03, YG17, YG25
Body: YG93, YG95, YG97
In the first pocket, I put a few lottery tickets. A four leaf clover is suppose to bring you luck, so I thought it would be perfect with some lottery tickets.
In the second fold, I made a tag with Peeled Paint, Walnut Stain, Crushed Olive & Broken China distress ink. I used some water after I applied the ink to spot the tag. I finished it off with some flourishes around the edges, ribbon and a four leaf clover.
I typed the sentiment in word and attached to the tag. (all in good fun)
Ok, so now it is your turn. Take another look at the picture and come to join us at {PIN}spirational Challenges! We can't wait to see how this picture has inspired you!
I would like to enter this in the following challenges:
