Loves Rubberstamps – Sensational Sunday Inspiration

Hello Friends!

I am back with more inspiration for you today with Loves Rubberstamps

I have seen a few cards lately with red and pink and have loved them.  So I decided to add some black to the red and pink.  I started with the background of My Mind’s Eye, Lost and Found 3 Ruby design paper as my background.  I used a Martha Stewart punch to punch a lacey edge on white paper.  I was not happy with just plain white cardstock, so I used some embossing ink and applied Ranger Perfect Pearls in white.  It has a beautiful shine, although it is a bit hard to see in this picture.

The image Devilish Lucy, by C. C. Designs, is stamped with memento ink on cryogen paper and colored with my copics. I used some Ruby Red stickles on her tail.  I cut her out using Spellbinders Labels 4 die.   I used Tim  Holtz Distress Ink in Spun Sugar around the edges.   The card is finished off with some flowers.  The center flower was originally white. I airbrushed it with my topic airbrush system to add some color.  The flourish was cut out with a Sizzix flourish #10  die and adorned with Perfect Pearls.

Copics used:
Hair/Shoes:  C3, C5, C7, C0, 100, 0
Dress:  R24, R29, E07
Skin:  E000, E00, E21
Horns:  E53

I have used the same layout for the inside of the card as I used on the outside.   The sentiment is by Greeting Farm "Because of You".

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge – Die Cuts or Punches

Hello Friends,

This is the last post for today, so please be sure to scroll down and see the other two posts of good fun!

I am back with another weekly challenge for Loves Rubberstamps!  This weeks challenge is to use Die Cuts or Punches.  That sounds easy enough!  So pull out those dies and punches, we would love to see what you have created!  Our sponsor this week is QKR Stampede.

I created a soft pastel card using Wee Stamps –Silver Fairy image.  I used cryogen paper and copics to color this beautiful image.  I also used some Tim Holtz Distress Inks around the image to add some interest.  The entire image is surrounded by Spellbinders  Fleur  De Lis Square die cut.  The background papers are My Minds Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up.  I finished up the with another die cut and some trim.  The Greeting Farm sentiment is stamped on a rectangle and I used my cropodile to fancy the edges a bit.  I finished it with some pearl embellishments and ribbon.

Copics used:
Skin:  E000, E00, E11, E13
Wings:  B10, B11, B13, C0, C1, C3
Dress:  R00, R21, R22
Hair:  E50, E53, E97

I used a Martha Stewart edge punch on the inside. The tag actually fits inside the bottom and pulls out.  I left it blank for now so I could write a personal note to the recipient.
