{PIN}spirational Challenge #51

Hello Friends!

I am back with another {PIN}spirational Challenge!  In case you don't know what the {PIN}spirational Challenge is all about, well let me share with you.  Each week you are given a picture for inspiration.  All you have to do is create based on that picture.  So here is this weeks picture.

Our Sponsors:

A Day for Daisies generously provided the design team with some cute images.  I am using Raining Love.  Looks to me like they could be playing Ring around the Rosie.  I printed the digi image out on cryogen paper and it is colored with copics.  The background paper is by Pink Paisley.  I used Spellbinders 21 to cut out the image and the background around the image.  The card is a slightly off center gate fold card.

The inside sentiment is by Stampabilities and I used matching paper with the front.

Copics used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13, E21
Hair:  E33, E35, E37, E01, E08, E18, E19, E35, E43, E53
Dress/Shoes/Hearts:  R20, R43, RV14

Be sure to come over to {PIN}spirational Challenge and play along with us!  This week A Day for Daisies is generously giving away a $12 gift card to the winner!

Thank you for stopping by.  Don't for get to scroll for the other two posts for today.
Blessings until next time....

{PIN}spirational Challenge # 41

Hello Blogging Friends,

This is the second post of three I have for today, so please be sure to check them all out.

We have the cutest picture for you today at {PIN}spirational Challenges.  Look at this little cutie!

Our sponsors this week are Cardmadfairy's Card Creations and Kitty Bee Designs.  They generously provided us images and sentiments to create with this week.

When I saw this picture, I had a few ideas in mind. First, I thought how would I create a card?  Then I thought a tag would be cute as I had the sentiment and I could use some of my Stampers Anonymous images with my distress inks.  What my final creation ended up being was completely different than what I originally thought.  When I sat down and relooked at the Cardmadfairy's sentiment "Love Always & Forever" and the inspiration picture,  I thought I should grab a picture of one of my dogs.  Then I remember my favorite picture of Stella, my basset hound.  The picture of the scrapbook page below is not blurry.  The actual picture of Stella is blurry.  It shows her personality perfectly.  She is always nosey, into everything and ready to give unexpected kisses.  Hence why her nose is huge and the rest of her body is small in this picture.  Her nose was practically on my camera lens.

So I have no copics for you in this post, not one.  I went to my second hobby, scrapbooking.  I used MME, Reflections and Pink Paisley paper which is all distressed and on a black background.  The sentiment was printed on cryogen paper and cut out with Spellbinders labels 18 die.  I used Tim Holtz peeled paint distress ink around the sentiment.  I finished the page off with twine, buttons and a charm.  So there you have it!  I will Love Always and Forever Stella.

So take another look at the inspiration picture and head on over to {PIN}spirational Challenges to show us how you have been inspired.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Thanks for coming by today.  I always appreciate your support of my work.
Blessings until next time...

Simplify!

Hello in blogland!

I started out making this card for a sketch challenge, but did not end up using it for that challenge.  I did another one that I liked better.  I have really been trying to get the pleats in clothes down.  I have watched several video's on You Tube and I found one that really made since to me.  It is all about the mountains and valleys - ding, ding, ding!!!  So I gave this one a shot.  I was pretty pleased with how it turned out.

I used a spellbinder die for the cut out, lace across the front and the simplify embellishment is by Tim Holtz.  He is my favorite!  I just wish his stuff was not so expensive.  The image is by Wee stamps, paper by Basic Gray & Pink Paisley.
