Loves Rubberstamps Blog Hop

Good Morning Friends,

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop! The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $10 Loves Rubberstamps store gift certificate. So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love for the Designers! You have until Saturday, June 8 th, at 8pm CST. Have fun and we hope that you enjoy the hop!

If you've arrived here from Dangina's blog you are right on track! If not, I have posted the whole blog hop list below just in case you get lost along the way!

It is so hard to believe that June is already here.  Wow!  Where has this year gone?  Summer is in full swing here in the midwest and I am loving being outside.  I promised more scrapbook pages due to my recent projects, so I am sorry to all the card makers that were hoping to see a card.  I am just about finished with my dad's book, just in the nick of time.  I took this picture of my nieces at Christmas time.  My mom was taking a picture of them from the front with their santa hats on.  I thought the back side with their arms around each other was adorable, so I snapped a little picture and was pleased with how it turned out.

I started my layout with black card stock and began layering with My Minds Eye papers.  I framed the 5x7 picture in black to make it stand out a bit.  The circles and sentiment block are by Simple Stories Fabulous collection.

I used some washi tape, ribbon inked with Walnut Stain distress ink (it was too white for the layout), twine, button and a Die Namics Mix and Match Banner die cut to add the date.  The die cut was inked with Victorian Velvet and Aged Mahogany distress ink.

The flower is by Spare Parts embellishments and I took a pice of a doily edge and wrapped it around the flower. The flourishes on the red background were stamped with Black Soot Distress ink.

Your next stop on the hop is Shanna!

Athina (you are here!)

We hope you have fun on the hop today!  It is a great way to see what the very talented design team is up to!
Thanks for stopping by!  I do appreciate your visit!
Blessings until next time...
Athina
