Hello Friends!
Welcome back to Tuesday's Challenge at Loves Rubberstamps!
So this week is a fun one! Do you remember the 1980'? What was your favorite part? I still love the music and listen to it often. There is just nothing better. How about the bright florescent colors, tie dye T-shirts? Well, let's take a walk down memory lane and celebrate the 1980's with our Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week. If you weren't around in the 80's, I am sure you are familiar with google - see what sparks your creativity!
Our sponsor this week is Kenny K!
I had fun with this one, but it didn't turn out quite as I had hoped. I used Kenny K - Fabulous Farah (generously provided by Kenny K) image and colored her with copics. Since I didn't have any tie dye paper, I made my own for the background. I used the copic air brush system with different bright colors in circles. Once I was finished, I spritzed the background with Copic Colorless Blender in a spray bottle. It faded some areas. Then I used Tim Holtz Distress Stain in White Picket Fence and stamped circle images in the background to add more of a tie dye look. I finished it off with some ribbon and Wild Orchid Crafts Open Roses.
Copics used:
Skin: E000, E00, E13, E21
Hair: C3, C5, C7, C9, 110
Dress/Boots: RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29
