Hi Friends!
Welcome back to another fun post for Loves Rubberstamps weekly challenge. This week the challenge is to make a card where the image is 3 Dimensional. Dangina on our design team makes the most awesome 3D cards. So we have a tough challenge ahead of us. I hope I did it some justice.
The inside also uses Echo Park Love Story paper pack. I used an EK success punch to punch the edge of the black paper and added some trim to the top. The sentiment is by Stampin Up and stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

All That Scraps generously provided the design team with Mr & Mrs Monkey digi images to use for this challenge. My first thought was to use the image to do a scrapbook layout of the Bernard Zoo. When I looked back through my pictures, I discovered I did not have a single picture of a monkey. So back to the drawing board. My sister in law is expecting, so I thought this would be a cute image for a baby card. So I pulled out my Echo Park Love Story paper pack and found the papers I liked. I know many would probably not use black, but my sister in law is not quite the pinky girl, so I think the black will work for her. Since she is expecting a girl, I used Mrs. Monkey. After I colored her with my copics, I fussy cut her out and put some dimensional dots behind her. I finished the card with a flower, brad, button and some twine.
Just showing some dimension on the image. |
Copics used:
E50, E51, E53, E55, RV000, RV23, RV29

I have used this sketch by Viva LaVerve that I pinned awhile back.
Ok, so put your thinking caps on and come play with us at Loves Rubberstamps weekly challenge! This week All That Scraps will be giving away a prize to the winner.
