Hello Friends,
Today at Party Time Tuesday the challenge is Love or
Romance. Our sponsor this week is Digi Garden. Jacqui has such cute images. I do want to take a moment to extend my sincere sympathy, thoughts and prayers to Jacqui's family. She passed away last week.
I have used Ursula with a Big Heart generously provided by The Digi Garden. She is printed on cryogen paper and colored with copics. I cut out the image with my Spellbinders large circle die and then cut the border out with a round flourish die.

Instead of making a card today, I decided to make a file
folder notebook holder. They make any
writing pad fun to use! You can find the
tutorial here. This is actually the second attempt for this particular one. The first one I started off using paper to cover the folder. I did not like how it creased and the paper did not lay flat. So I decided to use my Tim Holtz distress inks and start playing. I have made a combination of Spun Sugar, Pumice Stone, Aged Mahogany, Worn Lipstick and Concord Grape. I have also done some emboss resist with clear embossing powder. The stamps are from a variety that I had in my drawer, some with no names. But there are some Fancy Pants, Stampers Anonymous, and Autumn Leaves images stamped on the cover. The inside paper is by MME.
Copics used:
Hair: E50, E53, E97
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Dress/Bow: R81, R83, R85
Heart/Shoes: R83, R85, R89
I also made the flower out cricut flower die cuts. I started with white paper and started using matching distress inks. I used some different background stamps to add some texture to the flower. I then heat set the ink so that the ink would not smear. I sprayed them with water and crinkled them all up. After I straightened them out, I continued to shape them and stack them. It is held together with a brad.
Come on over to Party Time Tuesdays and show us your Love or
Romance project!
